The Standard Presents: Fanny Lumsden, Georgia Juliette Moncrieff and The Swamp Fphat Jangles.
For a lass that can drive a tractor, shoot a gun and make jam all at the same time Fanny Lumsden has taken to the gig and festival trail like a duck to water. Fanny and her cracking band The Thrillseekers are 6 piece 'folk-a-hillbilly' outfit who deliver a heart-warming- toe-tapping live show that is both as sweet as that homemade jam and raucous as a howling midnight hoedown.
Fanny grew up on a farm in western NSW in a family of musicians and in the 12 short months since moving to the city Fanny and her band have played at many of Sydney's most notable venues, headlined a number of gigs including a full capacity Folk Club, supported the likes of Vulgargrad, Daniel Merriweather, The Crooked Fiddle Band, Playwrite, the Davidson Brothers and toured with Sui Zhen.
Iconic alt-rock band Counting Crows make a welcome return to Australia this April for headline…
