Do you know a teenager that is always on their iPhone? This school holidays they can learn to get the most out of an iPhone camera and shoot like a pro!
The course teaches teens how to manually control the exposure and focus on an iPhone camera. Get to know the best iPhone applications for editing images and ways to share images online – with friends and family.
During this 2-hour practical class, students will head out on location to perfect their new found techniques.
Things that will be covered during this course:
- Focus control and lock
- Exposure control and lock
- Focus and exposure lock combinations
- Shutter functions
- Framing and panning
- Correcting underexposed images
- Image editing with apps
- Image sharing via apps
Required: iPhone 4 or 4S. After enrolling, you will receive a confirmation email outlining the course requirements. Prior to the course, you must have two apps installed on your iPhone. Details of these apps will be provided in advance and they can be downloaded from iTunes (total cost $8.48).
Suitable for ages 12 and above. Free for parent/carer. Children/Teenagers must be accompanied by a parent/carer at all times.

Membership is not required for the Sydney Children's Festival 2012.
This course requires no previous experience.
