A Tribute to Brubeck, Monk and Carmen McRae

Three jazz immortals, Brubeck, master of cool jazz, Monk, high priest of bebop and Carmen McRae, Jazz singer extraordinaire. Tonight, vocalist Bridgette Allan who not only befriended but also actually understudied with the great Carmen presents their music. Bob Sedergreen lists both Brubeck and Monk, as major influences and has played and recorded their music for many years.

Annette Yates was chosen by American Jazz legend Micky Tucker as his rhythm section and since his retirement has been constant companions on bass and drums with Bob. The indefatigable Mark Voogd will be on drums for this gig.
