Look around your house right now. Is it looking a little bare? Are the walls blank and lifeless? Now look into your closet. Lookin’ a lil’, lacklustre? What about that old crusty musty dusty lusty tote bag you’ve been lugging around, does it really represent you? If you answered yes to all those questions, you're in luck my friend, because Art Meets West is here to save the day!

CPAC Youth’s flagship arts market, Art Meets West will return to CPAC in 2019, showcasing the best of South West Sydney’s creative scene. CPAC Youth will be partnering for the first time with the Liverpool Youth Council (LYC) to showcase the best up and coming creators of Western Sydney.

Taking place as part of 2019’s National Youth Week, Art Meets West will showcase a range of Western Sydney’s best artists in a classic arts market, with accompanying live music by local talent, a keynote presentation by motivational speaker Daniel Merza, fun activities for all ages and a vibrant selection of amazing food catered by Bellbird Dining and Bar.

This year CPAC Youth and LYC are aiming to address important issues within the youth community such as mental health and ethical fashion. This will be made note of through our yearly zine that will be distributed at the market that will include written and visual works from Western Sydney writers and artists. The market will also include a clothing drive where locals will participate in donating their own clothing to sell at the event.

Hold onto your totes friends. Art Meets West this year is bigger and greener than ever!
