Black Friday Shopping Experience

The Glen Shopping Centre invites customers to enjoy a line-up of exciting Black Friday experiences for the whole family to enjoy next Friday, 29 November.

This year, the Centre is celebrating Christmas a little differently with a Christmas Carol Takeover, giving customers the technology to control the music playing in the centre. No longer will customers have to put up with the same old carols on repeat! By simply using their mobile phones (or at the touch screen in centre), customers will be able to sort through an extensive playlist of Christmas Carols and select their favourite tune. The ‘jukebox’ style technology will be in-centre from November 29–December 24.

Black Friday festivities will also see the Centre host free black bubble tea from Gotcha Fresh Tea, plus a unique opportunity to share a cocktail (or two) with Santa at Santa’s Cocktail Party. From 6:30 to 8:30pm, Santa will join customers for some cocktails and treats at the official Santa Set outside David Jones—let’s just say, this one’s not for the kids!

The Glen will also surprise Black Friday shoppers with a giant dice game of ‘evens’ or ‘odds’, where participants will have the chance to win a selection of instant prizes. To top the celebrations, an oversized Christmas Music Box will also sit on the main stage in the Dining Precinct and play a combination of Christmas Carols and everyday hits throughout December.
