Inspired by her mothers old cd collection (think Massive Attack and Tracy Chapman), as well as the recent phenomenon that is Nu-Soul and melancholy Jazz/Hip-Hop, Madison, through much experimentation, has landed herself in a sound that is distinctly her own; an amalgamation of elements drawn from from folk, jazz, hip-hop and electronica.
