Pink Ribbon Morning Tea – Fun-Raiser

A free event to help raise funds for Cancer Council WA, come grab some free coffee, family-friendly fun, food & a freshly minted copy of the Canning Show Exhibition Schedule!

Canning Show and BW Backhouse & Associates, Professionals Cannington invite you to put some pink on and get ready to enjoy a morning of delicious morning tea goodies (including free coffee) and fun activities for all ages, such as free face painting, interactive kids workshops and more.

There will be plenty of great ways to help raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research via supporting Cancer Council Western Australia (donating via Country Women's Association of WA aka CWA of WA home-baked goods, raffles, games, merch etc) and don’t forget to grab a freshly minted copy of the 2019 Canning Show Exhibition Schedule!

Free stuff:

Activities for the kids including:

- Create take-home pink lava lamps, pink slime, and pink foam eruptions with Learning Pod – Tutoring and Educational supplies (starts 10am /10:45am/11:30am)
- Ladybird Entertainment provides face painting (10–12pm)
- Mask making
- Coffee cart – providing limited free coffee to all
- Music – The Herald Skifflers giving their own unique skiffle twist on faves
- Games – including stick tennis, bocce, giant Jenga

Pink Ribbon Fundraising:

There will be numerous ways to support Cancer Council of WA, including fundraising via:

- Food - Buy some cheap, tasty home-baked scones, cream and jam, provided by Country Women's Association - Victoria Park/CWA of WA and The Happy Jam Pot, plus danishes, cakes and other delights
- Buy a pink ribbon or other merch from The Professionals, Cannington
- 'Guess The Lollies' – the classic, sweet guessing game
- Raffle – Win a hamper filled with goodies from local supporting businesses
- Donate online before the event

- Friends and family – enjoy this fun morning together!
- Cash for donations and purchasing food (no EFTPOS)
- Anything you need to help make it a fun morning out for you or your fam!
