Rhythm hunters + special guests Nicky Bomba & Si Mullumby.

Kids under 12 free to concert! (must be booked online ahead of time).

Rhythm Hunters
A dynamite force in world roots music, adored for their frenetic drum choreographies and infectious dance grooves, Rhythm Hunters bring cutting edge physical percussion, western horns, Asian flute, deep grooves and electro beats, making them one of Australia’s most exciting and in demand festival acts.

"Rhythm Hunters seems to be a force of nature rather than a grouping of musicians…a show that was so musically engaging and complex that it feels like you have slipped inside an ancient myth or otherworld. I was clearly unprepared for the power of this act." - Steve Gadd, Director Cygnet Folk Festival

Featuring special guests Nicky Bomba + Si Mullumby.

Nicky Bomba
A front man, conductor, musician and percussionist, Nicky’s Solo work is not confined by genres blurring reggae, funk, jazz, calypso and ska into a melting pot of fun, adventure and exotic sounds of the people and places he loves. Best known for his work with the Melbourne Ska Orchestra, Nicky also performs with his bands Bustamento and Bomba, The Truth and previously played with John Butler Trio.

Live performance holds sacred for Nicky who is eternally committed to creating a sense of community and unity whenever he plays. It is not uncommon for Nicky to go off on some magical tangent in order to really connect with an audience.

Si Mullumby (Wild Marmalade)
Leading contemporary didgeridoo player Si Mullumby has pushed the boundaries of what can be done with Australia’s iconic instrument. As a solo act, Si reveals his hidden multi-instrumental self. Combining flamenco guitar, spanish cajon and drums, he creates a world music framework to support his unique didgeridoo sound.

Incredible Location
There is no better location for a sound experience, a dance experience, a concert, a party than this huge natural sound resonator, a massive theatre made of stone, a visual spectacle with rugged walls going up and up into the ether where stalactites delicately that hang and bats fly beyond reach. Jenolan Caves are the largest, most spectacular and most famous caves in Australia. They are the world's oldest caves and one of the most outstanding cave systems on the planet. Experience the amazing and award-winning caves tours, adventure caving, scenic bush walks and Australian Aboriginal culture. Glimpse Australian birds and animals in the wild, including kangaroos and platypus. Set in Blue Mountains World Heritage wilderness, Jenolan Caves are a national treasure, of awe-inspiring beauty and scale.

Please note: The road into The Grand Arch closes at 7:00pm. The event begins at 8:00pm sharp. Please aim to be inside the venue no later than 7:00pm.
