Sandy Points Half Marathon

The Sandy Point Half Marathon is held along the streets of Melbourne’s iconic bayside, starting at Green Point, Brighton.

Held on Sunday 8 September 2019, the event offers a fast and flat course close to the water giving participants the advantage to maximise their performance. With three distances (Half-Marathon, 10K, 5K), you’ll take in stunning views of Melbourne’s Port Phillip Bay, which will help you stay motivated to cross the finish line.

Ready for a little friendly competition?

This year, local Victorian Run Clubs and Tri Clubs are invited to take part in this year’s Sandy Point Half Marathon to take part in the inaugural Clubs Clash and Free To Fly Mile.

The Clubs Clash is an inter-club competition taking place within the Half Marathon distance. Clubs entered in the event, will also receive 2 invitations (1 male, 1 female) to the Free To Fly Mile—an inter-club mile-long race.
