SpeakUP – Melbourne 6-Week Spoken Word Workshop

From writing to performance, Speak Up is a 6-week journey through the depths and power of the self through Spoken Word. Dive into what it means to be vulnerable, witness self-judgement and step into the empowerment of speaking your truths.

Come out of this course with the confidence to make a difference in your life, whether that means standing up to your boss or starting your own business, speaking at a wedding, touring internationally or simply being more comfortable to be yourself.

Who is it for?
This course is perfect for anyone wanting to build their confidence, their creativity or even to step back inwards towards a more authentic vulnerability. Whether you are an occasional public speaker, a yoga teacher, or just passionate about poetry this course will support and encourage your blossoming voice.

What to expect:
This six-week journey takes you safely from heart to page to stage. Using exercises and games, Fleassy Malay guides the group to find their own words and their own voices culminating in a group final Spoken Word performance on week 6. The final performance is shared with a private and invited audience of our nearest and dearest friends and family.
