Marét presents her most exciting live performance yet, premiering songs from her most recent release EP02 as well as her debut EP Marét. Be transported and transfixed as she takes you on a journey through her unique brand of pop.

Transcendent of labels and trends, crafting her art with honesty and fearlessness, Marét has been calling us, since her debut in 2018. She is fearless in her creation; forging her pop songs in the fires of ancestry and poetry. Soaring melodies, lush harmonies, chest-pounding beats and her mesmerising vocals take us deep within to a yearning we didn’t know we had.

Her debut release Vertigo dropped with vigour and a soul-infused sound, followed by Perfectly Imperfect with its sugar-sweet vocals and self-empowerment message. Support from commercial radio, Triple J Unearthed and Rage (ABC TV) followed. Her self-titled debut EP Marét, landed in early 2019 and gave us a taste of all the places she can and will take us to. Working with producer and song-writer Jean-Paul Fung (Birds of Tokyo, Aviva), Marét gave us verses to lean into and choruses to sing along to.

Recently released, EP02 has been created by Marét with the remarkable team of producers Ben Garden (Grafton Primary) and Peter Holz (Samantha Jade, Gang of Youths). First single Envy drops us into a lush sonic landscape and it is her voice that instantly ignites the senses. A collaboration with Citizen Kay on Greedy is a pop hip hop highlight, calling out our generational thirst for more and Press Play is a new take on old school disco that invites us all to 'dance like no one is watching'.

Her vocals are bold and defined, refreshing in a time where ‘less’ is celebrated. Few singers authentically resonate comfortably inside various styles, but along the way it is obvious Marét has been busy refining her skills to effortlessly move in and around all of these melodies and seamlessly shift from a whisper to a roar. Her lyrics are equally as daring, calling us into a world of truth, freedom, courage and fun!
