Gumbuya World is showing its appreciation this Mother’s Day with free entry for all mums on Saturday 8th May and Sunday 9th May. Open 10 am – 4 pm each day, there are wildlife activities galore to make mum’s day extra special.

Get up close and personal with over 50 animal species at the Wildlife Park. From creepy crawlies to cuddly koalas, roaming roos and dingoes, there is a wildlife adventure for the whole family. Adding to the animal experience are daily wildlife one-on-one close-ups with Gumbuya’s furry friends including koalas, dingoes, macaws, pythons and tropical birds.

Each ticket for Gumbuya World also offers plenty of added fun like the Augmented Reality Wildlife Passport which is available on the Gumbuya World app, hand feeding kangaroos, wallabies, emus, deer, peacocks and baby farm animals and a free close-up experience with the endangered Mountain Pygmy Possum (must be pre-booked online).

To really make the weekend mum-umental, Gumbuya will be running their annual Mother’s Day Lunch with Koalas event. Treat mum to a beautiful Gippsland Butcher’s Block lunch, which features a selection of Gippsland roasted meats, salads and roast vegetables, before enjoying a walk through the indoor koala exhibit where mum can pat, feed and take photos with Gumbuya’s cuddly koalas. Tickets to the Mother’s Day Lunch with Koalas event also includes entry to Gumbuya World.

Another brand-new addition to the Wildlife Park is the incredible Aussie Outback Experience, where guests can enjoy true blue Aussie activities like cow milking, sheep shearing and whip cracking. Access to the Aussie Outback Experience is included within the day ticket.

Gumbuya’s two worlds of rides, Oz Adventure and Outback Explorers, will also reopen from 12 pm – 4 pm across the weekend, with visitors able to add a ‘ride add on’ to their day ticket.
