Piaf and Dietrich - A Musical Soirée from Paris to Berlin

Nikki Nouveau returns to Le Trés Bon in Bungendore to perform a beautifully rendered musical biography, singing a stunning repertoire of classic songs while narrating the stories of legendary Parisian artist Edith Piaf and Berlin screen legend Marlene Dietrich.

From wildly different backgrounds and experiences, the divas, Piaf and Dietrich, forged a remarkable and compelling lifelong friendship after first meeting in New York. Nikki takes the audience on a musical journey of the 1940s, playing hits of the Grand Dames, with piano and accordion accompaniment by Canberra based virtuoso Matthew Dennett.

Sung in French, German and English you are transported to a bygone era.

Nikki is an imaginative and passionate performing artist with a love of characterisation and theatrical storytelling. With scores of performances around Australia and internationally, Nikki has gained a reputation of delivering and producing high quality entertainment to sell-out audiences and rave reviews. In 2020 Nikki released her debut album No Regrets (Love and Piaf) following her EP Bordello Blues showcasing cabaret hits and original compositions in French and English.
