Kickoff with surprise Solo Artist and warm your 'dancing shoes' up for @augustriverband an alternative outfit that’ll punch you right in the gut. Tightly arranged odd time signatures dissolve into soaring choruses which unapologetically push the boundaries of the genre whilst maintaining a soulful beckoning of the dark and beautiful, like crying whilst dancing.

August River Band offers a wild and beautifully juxtaposed chemistry between the tortured singer songwriter, the classically trained violinist and the hard-hitting rock and roll drummer. Major influences range from The Police, Dave Matthews, Midnight Oil, Edward Elgar, Foo Fighters and Radiohead.

With three singles already released this year, August River Band closed out the back end of 2020 strong. Their debut album ‘Thank You Pain’ landed in October with a packed launch party at the Valley’s most iconic venue, The Tivoli.
