Underground Comedy Club launches the laughs from Thursday, 11th February at The Imperial Erskineville.

The Imperial is a famous Sydney venue, renowned for outrageous, fun live entertainment, including their legendary drag shows.

Underground Comedy Club is a monthly stand-up comedy night at The Imperial and kicks off in style with an awesome line-up of fun-makers in February:

Headliner: Al Del Bene

Al won Los Angeles Comedian of the Year in 2012. Al first made his way in the comedy scene in New York, then The World Famous Laugh Factory in Los Angeles. With a comedy career that’s since journeyed across the globe to finally settle in Sydney in 2014, Al now enjoys entertaining audiences across Australia.

Support Act: Kimberly Rose

An exciting new voice in comedy, Cairns girl Kimberly, has performed at some of Sydney’s best clubs as well as Burning Man’s worst clubs. An award-winning filmmaker and AFTRS graduate, Kimberly is also a finalist in Sydney's K X Comedy contest. Flirty and irreverent, her comedic style reflects a bohemian lifestyle and suspicion of social norms. Kimberly's is a unique voice in the queer comedy community.

Support Act: Fady Kassab

2019 RAW COMEDY winner. Based in Sydney, Lebanese-born Fady is the 2019 winner of Australia’s largest open mic competition, RAW Comedy, at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Cheeky and endearing, he draws on his unique perspective and life experiences as a Lebanese migrant living in Australia.

Support Act: Christina Van Look

Christina Van Look has performed extensively in Australia and overseas including London, Las Vegas and New York’s iconic Gotham Comedy Club. She featured on ‘The Darren Sanders Show’ on Foxtel and Peter Berner’s ‘The B-Team’ on Sky. Christina is a regular panelist on 2SER radio.
