Petrina Bishop at her AKANNA Entertainment Music School brings out the best in her ‘Rising Stars,’ offering a safe space to fully unlock the talent that has always been inside them.
As a professional performer, performing on the great stages throughout Australia & beyond for over 40 years, Petrina is enthusiastic about passing on her knowledge of music, creating soloists like herself.

The school offers workshops for ages 7 – 9 in performance!
These workshops fine tune stage performance through implementing and developing emotional expression and characterisation, building confidence, and applying proper vocal technique while experiencing all styles of music, which are all necessary requirements to take to the stage and have the audience in the palm of your hand!

Students, if they wish will have professional performance opportunities offered to them via the AKANNA Entertainment Talent Agency!

Within the City of Melville, Petrina has been teaching singing to all ages for almost 20 years, with all students who so have desired going on to further their studies at WAAPA and other music conservatoriums throughout Australia and overseas. CARPE Life!
