Hope Island Jazz and Cabaret presents Robyn Brown

Jazz singer ROBYN BROWN is bringing her show, “A Touch of Blue” to Hope Island Jazz and Cabaret. With an extensive repertoire that covers early blues, swing standards, latin, bebop, soul jazz and self-penned originals, her particular passion is the songs of the early jazz/blues singers.

A show of classy standards and jazz-infused blues, all stamped with her soulful interpretation of these classic songs. Joined by Bruce Woodward (guitar), Helen Russell (bass) and Steve Powell (drums), they will present songs from early jazz/blues singers like Lil’ Green and Bessie Smith right through to Sarah Vaughan and Ella Fitzgerald. This will be an evening of elegant entertainment, not to be missed.
