Chinese Film Week 2023

From September 1st to September 7th, the 2023 Hobart Chinese Film Week will showcase all kinds of wonderful Chinese films and provide a platform for cross-cultural exchanges.

In recent years, the continuous growth in the number and box office of Chinese movies has attracted much attention, which means that the quality and diversity of Chinese movies have improved surprisingly. Films such as "The Wandering Earth 2" and "Male lion boy" have not only broken box office records in China, but are also loved by movie lovers at home and abroad.

China Film Week grows together with the Chinese film industry and aims to promote the exchange of Chinese film culture among the Australian Chinese community and non-Chinese speaking audiences. This year's exhibition will feature China's representative film screenings, industry forums, cultural seminars and other exciting content.
