The 3rd Chinese Traditional Cultural Festival (CTCF2023) will return to Melbourne in September! This time, CTCF2023 will be held on 23rd and 24th September at Federation Square, Melbourne!

CTCF has become one of the largest events on ancient Chinese culture in Melbourne and Victoria. Since 2019, the series of CTCF and Chinese culture events has been held 6 times, which has attracted thousands of people. This August, the Family Market of CTCF2023 at Box Hill Town Hall, was also a great success with more than 1,000 participants.

This September, there will be a collection of wonderful performances on the stage of Federation Square, where you could enjoy a variety of Chinese dance and music performances, traditional Chinese culture shows, and Chinese musical instruments.

On the Main Square, you will see a market filled with traditional settings and decorations. The Super Moon and Jade Rabbit will be waiting for you to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.

If you want to experience more about Chinese history, you may try on the traditional costumes, Hanfu in many unique styles that are from several dynasties of ancient China.

You are also welcome to participate in the hands-on intangible cultural heritage activities, which may include but not limited to pitch pot, calligraphy, DIY lanterns, weaving wool flowers, paper-cut, etc.

CTCF2023 is jointly organized by the Australian Chinese Dance Association (ACDA), Macro Vision Group Pty Ltd, Australian Hubei Chamber of Commerce & Hubei Association of Australia Inc.

Seeking Millennium Charm, Inheriting Traditional Chinese Civilization.

This September, we look forward to meeting you at CTCF2023 in Federation Square!
