For half a century, Cloudland Ballroom played host to a multitude of National and International acts.
The venue held 5,000 people and was THE Social Hub of not only Brisbane, but also attracted partygoers from throughout Australia.
Over a decade in development, a stunning cast of 30 performers & exquisite choreography by Kylie Wall, Cloudland the Musical is a visual and musical feast.
Featuring music by: Cold Chisel, Buddy Holly, The Angels, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny O’Keefe, The Bee Gees, Australian Crawl, The Go Betweens, Mental as Anything, Bill Haley, Split Enz and more. The score is a blend of original compositions and carefully selected works from these Iconic Australian and International artists that performed at Cloudland.
Cloudland the Musical, tells the true story of how this culturally significant venue impacted the Music & Dance scene for 3 generations. Masterfully re-created digital imagery brings to life the importance of this venue in the emergence of the Australian Live Music scene.
