'Come out and Play' for Rainbow Round

Australia and New Zealand’s premier LGBTIQA+ sporting club, Queer Sporting Alliance (QSA), is teaming up with global sportswear brand, Champion, to host a big ol’ queer basketball tournament in Thornbury on Wednesday 28^th June. Titled Rainbow Round, the free community event will celebrate the launch of Q league, Australia’s first queer basketball league established by QSA.

Prioritising participation over performance with a strict ‘no try outs’ policy and non-binary rules, Q League aims to make community sport more accessible and provides an equal chance for anyone to get involved, regardless of their sporting experience.

On Wednesday, attendees will experience Q League teams go head to head in a thrilling series of matches, enjoy live DJs sets, sip delicious refreshments, get around giveaways hosted by Champion, plus witness an exhilarating halftime performance by one of Australia’s finest camp dynamic duo, The Huxleys!
