With a career spanning more than two decades, Dianne Cripps has established herself as a formidable force in the music industry. Her blend of soulful melodies, introspective lyrics, and powerful vocals has earned her critical acclaim and a dedicated fan base worldwide. I Told the Ocean Your Name is testament to Cripps's exceptional talent, and her ability to craft music that resonates with listeners on a profound level.

Working with acclaimed arranger and song-writing partner Matt Thompson (2020 ASCAP Herb Albert Young Jazz Composers Award & 2021 Wangaratta National Jazz Award winner), and Emmy award winning producer Sean Carey, I Told the Ocean Your Name explores concepts of family, meaning and different forms of love – fledgling, forgotten, and forbidden. These original compositions and lush arrangements pay homage to her Southern roots as well as to the Australian landscape. She will also feature her crowd pleasing jazzpop arrangements of favourite songs by Dolly Parton, Billy Joel, Patsy Cline, Bruce Springsteen, and more.

Fantastic food and drink served from 6:30 pm. Drop in before the gig!
