Discover the ultimate event celebrating women in sport! Join us for "Goal-Driven Science: Enhancing Performance in Women's Football," hosted by the Alliance for Research in Exercise Nutrition and Activity (ARENA) from the University of South Australia, in partnership with Football South Australia (FSA).

Registration opens at 12:30pm, coinciding with the display of the FIFA Women’s World Cup Trophy at the Service FM Stadium. Don't miss your chance to be part of this extraordinary gathering, where science meets the world of women's football.

The event starts with talks focusing on evidence-based practice in women’s football. Hear about sports performance, sports nutrition, strength and conditioning, female performance and health, and how you can apply this knowledge to your current practice, whether you are a player, coach, teacher, or parent.

Session 1 speakers include Associate Professor Clare Minahan from Griffith University, Mia Lundquist from Adelaide United, Dr. Michele Lastella from Central Queensland University, and Georgia Campagnale from Port Adelaide Football Club.

In the second session, we shift gears to a community-centred atmosphere, fostering connections and shared experiences. The evening session includes a panel featuring esteemed past and present players, coaches and officials who will discuss their journeys in women's football. Guiding the conversation will be Associate Professor Nicky Ridgers, an expert in Physical Activity and Health from the University of South Australia.

Bring your friends, family, and colleagues—this event welcomes individuals of all ages.
