Join Hello Tut Tut for a night of wild and alluring cinematic dance music inspired by Eastern Europe and Latin America, exploring the dance between the light and dark with peaking ecstatic heights and descending brooding depths.

While We Sleep, Hello Tut Tut's latest album, will be celebrated live on April 15th, bringing their beautiful textural soundscapes to the Howler stage in Brunswick.

This will be the band's first Melbourne show in 3 years and the only one for 2023, so don't miss out!

The night will be opened by local soul groovers Belly Savalas and fused together by the global beats of DJ Dropter Suess.

Hello Tut Tut fuse the exciting musical world of gypsy, balkan, klezmer and latin to create a dynamic and original form of cinematic world dance music!
Re-uniting post-covid in 2022 to celebrate and officially launch their latest album "While We Sleep", the band has played a series of sell out shows in mid-north coast NSW and quickly became a festival favourite at both Tablelands and Woodford Folk Festivals, continuing their reputation as one of Australia’s most exciting dance bands.

With members of Australian, Hungarian, Polish, Jewish, Czech and Swiss descent, Hello Tut Tut explores their heritage to craft original music that is contemporary, entertaining and highly danceable.

“Hello Tut Tut had the main dancefloor cranking!”

The seven musicians bring their exuberant joy of playing together to all stages and thrive on interacting with each other and the audience.
Well-known for throwing some of the rowdiest world music gypsy parties, Hello Tut Tut fill venues with electric energy and excitement.

“Party central!” — Illawarra Folk Festival, AUS

Their 2nd album ‘While We Sleep’ is a timeless journey exploring the bands roots in eastern european culture infused with Melbourne’s progressive musical landscape.
Teaming up with Grammy-nominated producer Nick Herrera (Hiatus Kaiyote, 30/70, Allysha Joy) and recording engineer Myles Mumford (Vulgar Grad, The Senegambian Jazz Band) the band’s irresistible live energy has been beautifully brought through the recording process.

“Dynamic and loads of fun, this band is the hottest new group on the world music scene in Australia, paving new directions in original Eastern European inspired party music!” — Tania Bosak, AUS
