Celebrate Christmas at the Sydney Opera House Forecourt with Human Nature!

Australia’s most loved and successful pop group, Human Nature – Toby Allen, Phil Burton and brothers Andrew & Michael Tierney – are bringing a special Christmas cheer to Sydney this year as they bring The Christmas Show to the Sydney Opera House Forecourt on Wednesday, 13 December. 

The Christmas Show will see the ARIA Hall of Fame foursome performing outdoors and under the stars as they kickstart the festive season for 2023. Music fans will be bursting with Christmas cheer as they sing along to all the Holiday classics from Human Nature’s timeless Christmas album - including Let It Snow, White Christmas, O Holy Night, Last Christmas and Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer - intertwined with some of the groups most adored and requested songs from their stellar chart-topping career.

“All we wanted for Christmas was to come home and play a show for our fans in Sydney — so this is beyond a thrill. To be able to perform an outdoor Holiday show on the iconic Sydney Opera House Forecourt is just incredible. We can’t wait to share the fun with you all. Singing Christmas classics, our own hits and of course some Motown favourites —- it will be the best way to bring in the festive season together,” said Andrew Tierney. 

Human Nature are one of the great Australian musical success stories. They signed with Sony Music in 1995 and arrived into the lives of the great Australian public in 1996. Since then, the group have become known around the globe for their distinctive harmonies & and thrilling live shows, earning their place as one of the world’s finest pop-vocal groups of the modern era.

Across their career, Human Nature have sold more than 2.5 million albums across 13 albums and earned 29 platinum awards. Along the way, they have achieved four #1 albums, 11 top 10 albums in Australia and 6 top 10 albums worldwide. In 2019, each member of Human Nature was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) and inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame. Between 2021 and 2023, Human Nature have toured extensively – taking their “AAA - People Get Ready” show across the length and breadth of Australia, playing over 100 shows across every state and territory of Australia and even returning to some key regional centres with encore performances. 2023 also included another career milestone, with Human Nature performing at the 2023 Birdsville Big Red Bash and Mundi Mundi Bash in Broken Hill.
