Passions will explode between Australia’s dream team piano quartet, bringing together SSO’s Concertmaster Andrew Haveron, ACO Principal Violist Stefanie Farrands and QSO Chief Conductor Umberto Clerici with international soloist Konstantin Shamray on the piano.

The quartet will present works inspired by gypsy music including Brahms' first piano quartet and Hungarian Dance, Enescu Romanian rhapsody and more!

Andrew Haveron has established himself as one of the most sought after violinists of his generation; his unrivalled versatility marking him as a highly respected soloist, chamber musician and concertmaster.

Stefanie Farrands is the ACO's newest member, appointed as Principal Viola in 2020, having performed extensively throughout Europe, America, Asia and Australia with orchestras such as the Berlin Philharmonic.

Described as an exhilarating performer with faultless technique and fearless command of the piano, acclaimed concert pianist Konstantin Shamray enjoys performing on an international level with the world’s leading orchestras and concert presenters.

With a career spanning more than 20years as a gifted cello soloist, orchestral musician and now conductor, Umberto Clerici has gained a reputation as an artist of diverse and multifaceted talents.

My Gypsy Soul will also be encoring on the same night as the original performance at 9.30PM. Whether you’re a night owl running to a later schedule or wish to enjoy a leisurely dinner before the show, Late At The Great will transport you with its captivating musical arrangements.
