See Australia’s busiest port, right on the city’s doorstep!

Explore the Port of Melbourne up close on a fun, family-friendly boat tour - featuring guided commentary from port staff and children's activities, you’ll get to see and experience the port from a whole new angle.

Port of Melbourne is Australia’s largest container and general cargo port and a vital trade gateway – whether sending Australian grain to Guangzhou or bringing us coffee from Colombia.

Tours will run for approximately 90 minutes from 10am, 12.30pm and 2.30pm across four dates: 22 April, 7, 27 and 28 May - bookings are required.

All proceeds are donated to Mission to Seafarers Victoria and Stella Maris Seafarer Centre - who support the thousands of seafarers who spend months at sea bringing goods to us every day of the year.

Meet on the wharf at Victoria Harbour - look for the Port of Melbourne banners and the Magic Charter Kingfisher II catamaran.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to tour time, allow up to 30 minutes for boarding and disembarking, and bring an electronic or paper copy of your ticket.

This is an all-weather event but it can be cold and windy on the water. Comfortable shoes and a warm jacket are recommended.
Duration is also subject to weather conditions and making way for commercial vessels if required.

Please note this event may be photographed and recorded.

No food or drink is allowed on the boat (water and drink bottles are permitted).
Please contact us to discuss accessibility requirements.
