Thunder Club

Thunder Club was conceived to promote and revitalise the local original heavy rock, hard rock, prog rock, glam rock live show experience.
Thunder Club showcases Adelaide’s best original bands to create and relive the heady days of head banging, fist pumping riff driven music. Punters are able to immerse themselves in the experience of a classic killer live rock gig with 3 bands delivering high powered classic hard and heavy rock that’s alive and well in the 21st century.
Headlining this round will be Loaded Billy:
Loaded Billy are known for their brand of stadium rock: their sound owing much to the NWOBHM (New Wave of British Heavy Metal) movement and reminiscent of classic ‘British Steel’ era. Think Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Budgie.
Loaded Billy have been blowing away audiences since they went back on the road August last year. They have an 11 track album due for release around the middle of the year and have just completed a video for the first single from the album which will be released nationally in May thru Evergreen Artists.
Wicked Empire will be playing the middle spot delivering their hook laden, dual guitar driven melodic hard rock. 2021 saw the release of their critically acclaimed self-titled debut album and continue to build a strong live audience. The band are currently finishing off their next full length album. Wicked Empire’s live performances leave the audience wanting more, you just can’t get enough of those classic rock era inspired guitars and soaring vocals: classic hard rock at it’s finest.
Opening the show will be Trick Shot who are replacing Carl Dover and Three Deep who can no longer do the gig.
