Women in War: Spies, Secrets and Subterfuge
The second in the “Women in War” series of talks: “Spies, Secrets and Subterfuge” hosted by the Castellorizian Association of Western Australia and the Friends of ANZAC Cottage will take place on Sunday July 30 at Castellorizian House , 160 ANZAC Road, Mount Hawthorn. Doors will be open at 1.30pm, with talks scheduled to begin at 2pm.
The presentations on this occasion will focus on the roles of women in the mysterious world of espionage and resistance from an Australian and a Greek perspective. Featuring lower profile secret agents from both countries and their importance in the defence of their nations and beliefs, the talks will explore the dangers faced by these ladies and their importance to the state’s security.
The cost, which is all inclusive and includes a delicious afternoon tea, is only $5.00, with all proceeds going to these two not-for-profit, community based and volunteer run organisations.
