Great Southern Nights presents… Hannah Macklin live at Brunswick Picture House


Fresh off the back of releasing her debut full-length album, the conceptual cosmic work "MU" and following a rebrand of a swathe of past releases (encompassing former aliases MKO and MKO Sun), the enigmatic Hannah Macklin brings her 5-piece band (featuring Brandon Mamata - guitar, Peta Wilson - keys, Lachlan Symons - bass and Sam Mitchell - drums) to the Brunswick Picture House to rock a show! Hannah sings messages of gratitude and wonderment for all expressed from both inner and outer worlds, woven with a kooky and energetic blend of soul, nu-jazz and punk. Joining the bill is Meanjin/Gimuy singer-songwriter KALILA. 


Great Southern Nights 2024 will take place from 8-24 March 2024 featuring more than 300 gigs across 17 nights throughout Sydney’s inner city and Western Sydney, as well as shows in seven key music communities across NSW, including Tamworth, Wagga, Newcastle, Wollongong and the Northern Rivers.
