The Prosecco Festival 2024

Join us for the 7th annual Prosecco festival - coming back to the fabulous Abbotsford Convent in March 2024!

Meet growers, winemakers and importers, and taste some of the best Prosecco available in Australia today, and with over 40 different Proseccos to try there's one to suit every palate!

This unique event brings together Italian and local Prosecco producers, as well as Van Di Vino, Australia's original Prosecco and Spritz Bar, wines by the glass, award-winning craft beer from King River Brewing, delicious food, and great tunes to get you in the mood. This year we're going with an 80's theme so expect to hear some absolute classic bangers as you enjoy your bubbles! And we won't say no if you feel like getting dressed up into the bargain - we certainly will be! :) And we're even throwing a little 80's after-party in The Oratory if you're coming to the second session.

Each ticket includes a beautiful tulip-shaped Plumm sparkling wine tasting glass that's yours to keep, a Festival program and a tote bag which holds up to 2 bottles of wine for take-home purchases, and tastings of all wines & beer.

Due to licensing restrictions this is an adults only event - children under 18 cannot be accommodated at any time (including babies, children in prams)

2 session times are available : 11am-3pm and 4.30pm-8.30pm

VIP Sessions :

There is 1 VIP session for each time slot - which includes a 45 minute Prosecco Masterclass with the Prosecco Queen, Melissa Brauer, where guests will taste 4 different styles of Prosecco paired with antipasto snacks and cheese. A member of the Dal Zotto family will join us to talk about Australia's first Prosecco, and Dal Zotto and Aperol team up to provide guests with Aperol Spritz on arrival and departure.

Session One VIP Masterclass starts at 12pm sharp

Session Two VIP Masterclass starts at 5.30pm sharp

Masterclasses run for 45 minutes, and the masterclass is held in the Oratory.

BLUE LIGHT DISCO: For those of you who want to keep the party going, from 8.45pm-10.30pm we are turning The Oratory into a BLUE LIGHT DISCO complete with disco ball, lasers and smoke machine, playing the best 80's tunes ever, DJ'd by The Prosecco Queen.

Only 150 tickets available.

(Note this ticket can only be purchased in conjunction with a Session 2 ticket)

ALL TICKETS

Please note all tastings are including in the ticket price. Additional wines by the glass will be available direct from each exhibitor at $10 each. Van Di Vino will be serving up Aperol Spritz and wines by the glass on the lawn.

You can purchase wines to take home directly from each exhibitor, or place orders for home delivery. All wine sold on the day to take home will NOT be chilled and CANNOT be consumed at the festival, as this breaches our liquor licence conditions. Security will also be patrolling the area to ensure these breaches do not occur. Anyone found breaching this condition will be asked to leave the festival immediately.
