On Thursday, APRIL 4, 2024, JMQ Jazz Ensemble is delighted to feature American jazz songstress, TY COOPER, sharing her birthday week, with band pianist MICHAEL HARDING, alongside guest saxophonist, Anton Delecca and an all-star JMQ Jazz Ensemble, Nick Haywood, Aaron McCoullough, with maestro John.

TY is known for her rich voice, powerful stage presence and dedicated professionalism, Ty Cooper is, “the real deal”, Her impeccable showmanship and an easy command of jazz, sultry blues and sizzling swing styles, all wrapped up in flash and sass, guarantee a rich following wherever Cooper graces the stage.

Cooper has sung in locales as varied as Caesar’s in Las Vegas, Chicago’s legendary Green Mill, Caveau de la Huchette (the oldest jazz club in Paris), and the opulent Wynn Hotel in Dubai. She has led multiple productions and bands, including Swing & Strings, Ty and the Wild Women Jazz. She is now winding up a tour of Jazz Events in Brisbane, Adelaide, Hobart, Sydney and Melbourne.

MICHAEL is one of Australia's finest jazz and show pianists, accompanists, MDs and composers and a regular band-member, with the JMQ Ensemble. He has performed with just about every 'name' singer in town.

ANTON is a very fine jazz saxophonist, composer and recording artist, who has worked with many great artists, and has been associated with John's bands most of his life. Another very special evening is in store.Don't miss this one!
