Fans who missed out on securing tickets for the Arctic Monkeys' January 2012 Sydney show can breathe easy; The Frontier Touring Company have announced that the band will perform a second and final show in Sydney on Friday the 13th of January at the Enmore Theatre, as apart of their National tour.
This is a rare encore event not to be missed. An opportunity to see them in such an intimate venue will certainly be an unforgettable experience.
The Arctic Monkeys are unstoppable; tickets to the Sydney Hordern Pavilion show sold out almost immediately and the band's widely acclaimed fourth studio album, Suck It And See (out now through Domino/ EMI) reached #4 on the ARIA Charts. Fans will enjoy hearing offerings from the new album such as hit singles 'Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair' and 'The Hellcat Spangled Shalalala'.
The Arctic Monkeys will be joined at the Enmore Theatre by very special guest Miles Kane. Miles Kane shot to prominence as front man of popular English indie rock bands The Rascals and The Last Shadow Puppets, the latter being his shared side project with best mate Alex Turner from the Arctic Monkeys.
Miles Kane is now enjoying success off the back of his solo debut album 'Colour of the Trap' which is a rollicking arrangement of dark vintage pop and glorious soul sounds. The album contains collaborations from big names such as Noel Gallagher (Oasis), Alex Turner (Arctic Monkeys) and Gruff Rhys (Super Furry Animals) and was recorded with Dan Carey (Franz Ferdinand, Hot Chip) and Dan The Automator (Gorillaz, Kasabian).
