Kimbra Australian Tour

Illusive and Frontier Touring by arrangement with Artist Voice and Outpost Management are extremely excited to announce the highly anticipated Australian tour for Kimbra! The five-date interstate jaunt - hitting Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Perth - brings the jetsetting Kiwi back to her adopted Australian home in May for her first headline tour in close to a year. The intimate affair will see Kimbra bring her acclaimed live show to limited-capacity venues for what is set to be one of the hottest tickets in town.

Kimbra has spent the past year carving her name into the Australian psyche and has started to export her unique brand of jazz-inflected pop to an eager global audience. During this time, she has released four hit singles - 'Settle Down', 'Cameo Lover', 'Good Intent' and 'Two Way Street' (all of which featured in triple j's Hottest 100), a Platinum album (Vows, for which she won the 2011 ARIA Award for Best Female Artist) joined forces with Gotye for 'Somebody That I Used To Know' (the 8x Platinum colossus that has reached #1 in 11 countries and is currently streaking up the US Billboard chart), and taken the breath away from tens of thousands at Big Day Out, Splendour in the Grass and Parklife festivals. Oh, and she's racked up tens of millions of views on YouTube in the process.

Kimbra will be joined by another of the country's most promising young artists - one Daniel Merriweather - who has taken the world by storm in recent years (including a Platinum album in the UK) with his impossibly smooth vocals and a little bit of help from long-time friend Mark Ronson. Now residing in New York, the ARIA Award winner returns home to give us a little taste of what's to come from his long-awaited sophomore album.

In the months ahead, Kimbra will perform at some of SXSW's most celebrated events before back-to-back US tours alongside Gotye and Foster the People. While she has already achieved more than most artists would dare dream of, it would appear as if it is only the beginning for the 21-year-old Kimbra, whose trajectory is well and truly on track for worldwide superstardom. This is an opportunity that won't be repeated any time soon - don't miss out.
