Coldplay have announced the details of their first Australian tour (not counting last year's Splendour In The Grass fly-in) since 2009. Chris Martin and co - who've won a stack of Grammys and earnt the title of "world's biggest band" in recent years, will play three stadium shows in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane in November. It's shaping up to be massive month for fans of British alt-rock, with fellow heavyweights Radiohead also touring the country at the same time (if that's got the blood rushing to your head, don't panic: none of the dates appear to clash).
Coldplay will be supported by Australia's own The Temper Trap, and Alabama sister-act The Pierces.
Tickets go on sale Friday May 25 at 9am in Sydney and Melbourne, and 10am in Brisbane - set your clocks!
