If you've been off your food lately, Monday 1 October will alleviate your flavour woes as the Crave Sydney International Food Festival launches for the month, running until Wednesday 31 October.
The festival offers up the best of cuisine from around the world in traditional and unconventional locations, serving up breakfast, lunch and dinner, the best products and produce from near and far, tastebud tantalising new food and drink ideas, and exceptional entertainment.
Be parched and hungry no more as Sydney food villages, and further afield locales, put on a lavish banquet, the next round of drinks and spill their recipe secrets.
Like a Russian babushka doll, there are even festivals within festivals: quaff lovingly crafted beer at the Sydney Craft Beer Festival, sample the local produce of the greater Port Macquarie area at Tastings on Hastings events, experience kosher delights at the Jewish Food Festival, find the best spot to heat up the barbecues that are taking part in Barbecue Madness adventures, plus pop-parties, family lunches, delicious degustations, the infamous Night Noodle Markets and heaps more.
