West Coast Blues 'n' Roots Festival has announced the line-up for 2013, the event also happening to be its 10th birthday, taking place on Saturday 23 March and Sunday 24 March in Fremantle Park.
Like any good party host, they've invited the best to the west, including Robert Plant presenting Sensational Space Shifters, Iggy & The Stooges, Chris Isaak, Status Quo, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Fred Wesley and the New JB’s, Newton Faulkner, Kitty, Daisy & Lewis, Grace Potter, Mama Kin and Blue Shaddy for the Saturday.
The Sunday event is just as tasty with Ben Harper, Santana, Steve Miller Band, Wilco, Bonnie Raitt, Jimmy Cliff, Michael Kiwanuka, Ash Grunwald and Benjamin Francis Leftwich all RSVPing with a huge "hells yeah".
West Coast Blues 'n' Roots Festival is infamous for pulling some seriously legendary artists like Bob Dylan, Elvis Costello, James Brown, The Pogues, John Fogerty, Crosby Stills & Nash, Crowded House, John Mayer, Grace Jones, Ray Davies and more, plus breaking acts like The Black Keys, Gotye and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.
