Big Day Out announce final acts, new stage, timetables and more

Indigenous award-winning band The Medics, Pitchfork-touted, Sydney four-piece Royal Headache and ARIA-charting grindcore band Thy Art Is Murder are among those announced in Big Day Out’s final lineup announcement.

The national festival giant has also unveiled a brand new stage, their timetables, maps and plans for an interactive iPhone and Android app for the five 2013 events.

Appearing on BDO’s new Red Stage will be acts like Something With Numbers, The Smith Street Band, Urthboy and Good Heavens.

GOLD COAST (JUST ANNOUNCED): The Medics, Dead Letter Circus, I Heart Hiroshima, Paul Mac, The Cairos, Bob Log III, Hey Geronimo, We All Want To, Evil Eddie, Skinwalkers, Dave's Pawn Shop, Lily Rouge, The Vernons, Sneeky Picnic, and triple j Unearthed winners: Jakarta Criers.
