Additional sideshows of one of the most eagerly anticipated music festivals in years - Soundwave - have been announced, and support acts for Sidewaves already on the cards have been unveiled.
Duff McKagan's Loaded, Danko Jones, Sick Of It All, Madball, Vision of Disorder, Kyuss Lives!, Red Fang and Anthrax are the latest of the mammoth acts that have signed on to rock out (or scream or flail or whatever it is that they do that their fans are so into - different strokes for different folks, guys) on stages at non festival centres and venues.
Already announced shows include Blink 182 - who have added The Vandals and Sharks to their line-up (Sydney is sold out, there's an extra round of tickets on release for Brisbane, and Melbourne has added another show due to the first selling out) - Garbage (sold out), Paramore (sold out) and The Offspring (sold out). You know what else is sold out? All of Soundwave is sold out.
When tickets go on sale to these new shows, I'd get my nifty little paws on 'em quickly, 'cause I'm assuming the correlaton between line-ups/shows being announced and things being sold out is perfect positive with a co-efficient of +1, i.e. a lot of people have a huge jones for these artists and put their money where their Facebook band page like is.
