Australia's favourite mid-year music festival, Splendour In The Grass, will return to Byron Bay with a new address in 2013.
The festival, which temporarily returned to its original home at Byron's Belongil Fields last year after two years at Woodford in Queensland, is finally taking up its new and permanent residence at North Byron Parklands.
As usual, lineup rumours are already circulating: The Polyphonic Spree accidentally leaked via Twitter that they'll be playing, while indie Brits Alt-J recently announced a national tour for late July that has Splendour-goers excited. Lineup forecasters are also examining Japan's Fuji Rock lineup for clues - Bjork and Nine Inch Nails are headlining that festival, and bands like Wavves, Of Monsters and Men, and Mumford and Sons are a good bet.
Festival organisers have also confirmed this year's dates as Friday 26th, Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th of July - so clear those diaries and stay tuned for the official lineup announcements!
