A tweet from notorious spiller AJ Maddah late last month claimed Australian tour dates for Neutral Milk Hotel were locked in months ago. Little did we suspect he was discussing his own festival, Harvest - but the NMH's website points to an extended tour for the reclusive band, including two Australian dates: November 16 in Sydney, and November 17 in Brisbane, for Harvest festival.
It was originally announced that Neutral Milk Hotel were heading out on a small five-date tour in October, a cool 15 years since the band released their magnum opus In The Aeroplane Over The Sea, which they only ever supported with a small national tour. Seems the band have also unwittingly leaked the dates for Harvest Sydney and Brisbane, too.
