Martha Davis and the Motels add original player to tour

Next month '80s sensations Martha Davis and the Motels will tour Australia for the first time since the Countdown Spectacular Arena Concerts of 2007, and this morning the band announced they will bring with them original ‘Motels’ sax player Marty Jourard to all six of their national dates.

Last month saw the group play a sold-out show at the legendary Whisky A Go Go to celebrate their 50th Anniversary. Emmy nominee and BAFTA winner, Rosanna Arquette and rock musician, songwriter and record producer Linda Perry took the stage for a heartfelt introduction of Martha.

The band has been in the studio recording its first major new album in years, played concerts in Portland, Seattle, San Diego and LA.

Martha Davis and the Motels are set to perform in Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne and Sydney from March 12-19.
