Jeff Rosenstock Australian Tour

New York's Jeff Rosenstock returns to Australia this March for an 11-date national tour to promote his latest solo album We Cool? (2015), with support from Antarctigo Vespucci, and Melbourne’s Camp Cope. They will be performing in Launceston, Adelaide, Footscray, Lorne, Wollongong, Marrickville, Sydney, Newcastle, Fortitude Valley, Brisbane and Melbourne.

This will be Jeff’s fourth time in Australia, after touring with his band Bomb The Music Industry in 2012 and 2013 and producing The Smith Street Band’s third album Throw Me In The River in 2014.

Released in March 2015, Jeff Rosenstock’s second solo album and first SideOneDummy release We Cool? was universally met with rave reviews across the world. The Music boasted that “it’s fast, fun, intelligent pop-punk of the highest order," and its release led to a relentless touring schedule including shows with Alkaline Trio, Modern Baseball and PUP. This tour will see Jeff Rosenstock perform songs from We Cool? live for the first time in Australia backed by Bruce Lee Band drummer Kevin Higuchi and former Bomb The Music Industry bassist John DeDomenici.

Making the most of his time down-under, Jeff Rosenstock will use the tour as an opportunity to present Antarctigo Vespucci: his power-pop collaboration with Chris Farren of Fake Problems. Initially formed as a one off recording project whilst Farren was visiting Brooklyn in early 2014 , Antarctigo Vespucci has since grown to release two EPs and a full-length album. This will only be Farren’s second time in Australia, having previously played in support of The Gaslight Anthem in 2015 which ended up a career defining tour: he miraculously managed to write and record his EP Where U Are in the stolen moments between sound checks, lobby calls and flights across the country.

Joining Jeff Rosenstock and Antarctigo Vespucci on all dates is Melbourne buzz-band Camp Cope. Having recently signed to Poison City Records to release their debut album due in April, the trio have quickly forged a reputation as the band to watch in 2016.
