American musician, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and actor Prince is coming to Australia for his Piano & a Microphone Tour. Further details, including venues and dates, would be announced soon.
In a news reported by NZ Herald, Prince talks about his scrapped Europe tour dates:
"Why do this now? For several reasons. For starters it is a challenge. I rarely get bad reviews because this is something that's been perfected for over 30 years," he said.
"You have to try new things. With the piano it is more naked, more pure. You can see exactly what you get."
This Minnesota born musician is said to be a perfectionist “who is highly protective of his music.” He writes, composes and produces the majority of his music, and plays most of the instruments on his albums.
