Splendour In The Grass Drops 2016 Line Up

Lovers of outdoor good times…time to listen up! The green fields of North Byron Parklands will once again burst into life as the 16th annual Splendour In The Grass Music and Arts Festival is set to fill every square metre with nothing but music, fun and stomping fans.

From influential post-punk trailblazers and globally acclaimed garage revivalists to reknown producers, esteemed enigmas and some of Australia’s most established and promising artists – Splendour 2016 guarantees a peak sing-along and so much more.

The Global Village will boast a brand new stage. It wouldn’t be Splendour without the Tipi Forest. The Splendour Forum kicks into action with a riveting program of panels and discussions featuring an impressive roster of clever and witty guests including Splendour favourite, Q&A’s Tony Jones.

Splendour In the Craft, that oasis of glitter, bedazzling and hot glue guns is also back. Splendour Art returns in this year with a bumper program of performance, painting, installation, video art and sculpture. Sift through a selection of items at Splendour’s myriad Markets. Feeling a bit hangry? There’ll be Snacks for Days. Then there’s Sing for Your Supper, Splendour Late Night Comedy Club featuring some of the country’s best comedic forces, and our festival for the kiddies. Little Splendour is back with a world of wonder for our littlest punters (0 – 15 years) and their families!

In 2016 there will be new camping choices available including the option to camp with your vehicle. Feel like treating yourself? Travel light and book yourself into Tepee Love, Flash Camp, Tent City or Byron Bay Camping Hire. Kids in tow? The Meadow, our family friendly campground will also return in 2016. And if you’re booking a campervan, please steer clear of sexist slogans! You know who you are, its 2016, get with the program!

And of course, topping the program off is a sizzling line up of bands and musicians eager to tear off every single corner of the stage with their electrifying performances. Snatching a spot at the Splendour In The Grass festival are:
