It's been a cool two years for Black Heart Breakers since they broke into the scene in 2014 with their debut album, "self-titled". Now with a tour under their belt and some stellar gigs with the likes of Ruts DC and Stiff Little Fingers, the bar has definitely been set higher with the new single, "I Want You". The group is set to perform in Wollongong, Katoomba, Orange, Brisbane, Newcastle, Dubbo, Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne.
Hayden (lead vocals, guitars) confesses, "It's all about misplacing your affection. I was really into this chick who was really into one of my close friends... that sort of situation".
Lately, the boys have been locked in the recording studio working on their follow-up release, a 5 track EP. It was however during pre-production where this song came alive.
"We listened back to the demo we recorded at Def Wolf Studios and thought that the core of the song was great...we added vocals and lead guitars and took it back to Def Wolf for Daniel Antix to mix and master." - Hayden McGoogan

The B-Side is a cover of "Barbara Ann" made popular by The Beach Boys & The Regents.
