Exuding the grit and grime from the streets of Los Angeles, female punk heroes, L7 are back after a long hiatus, ready to tear up stages as they hit Australian roads this October with their frenetic energy and classic hits. The band will be delivering highly-charged performances in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
They ruled the music scene throughout the 90’s. They spearheaded a riotous underground musical movement whilst defying gender expectations for the greater good of kick-ass alternative grungy punk rock – these words best describe the iconic queens of rock ‘n’ roll, L7.
From late 1980s til late 90s, they were responsible for some classic rock moments – Shitlist, Pretend We’re Dead, Everglade, Slide, Andres, Fuel My Fire (co-written with our own Cosmic Psychos), Wargasm, Shove, Fast and Frightening to name a few. The band’s “Bricks Are Heavy” album was also featured by Rolling Stone in their list of Essential Recordings of the 1990s.
Being cited as huge influence on many of the Riot Grrrl bands of the 90’s, L7 reunited in 2014. They have been powdering stages, demonstrating exactly why their live performances are iconic.
