It's all systems go for Irish singer-songwriter Gavin James' Australian tour. After touring overseas with the likes of Ed Sheeran and Sam Smith, the Dubliner is set to headline shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
Gavin James released his much-awaited and now platinum certified album in Ireland, Bitter Pill last March. The songs in the album were given the grand setting and loving attention they deserve, with strings, choir-like backing vocals, and electric instruments that add drama to the more up-tempo tracks.
Produced by Fraser T Smith (Adele, Sam Smith) and Cam Blackwood (George Ezra, Florence and The Machine), the title track to Bitter Pill is a broodingly beautiful composition. After securing the honour of Track Of The Day on BBC Radio 1, ‘Bitter Pill’ was added straight into rotation on BBC Radio 1 and 2.
KIIS have added ‘Bitter Pill’ in Sydney and Melbourne, and fans are in for a treat as he performs that hit, and many others, at his shows which will kick off this week.
