Get ready to be amazed as Operation Ouch, the hit ABC3 children’s television series hosted by TV’s favourite identical twins, Dr Chris and Dr Xand, goes live on stage in January 2017.
The Operation Ouch! Live On Stage tour will kick off in Hobart before going to Perth for three consecutive performances, then to Brisbane for six back-to-back performances. Melbourne will host the final six performances.
See the doctors explore the fascinating world of biology through incredible stunts, crazy experiments and amazing facts. Plus they’ll share their favourite bits from the TV show.
What does it look like inside of Dr Xand’s head? How can germs be good for you? What can you do with a month’s worth of farts? How does sneezing work? What exactly happens to the food you eat? How can bugs be beneficial for you? All these questions and more will be answered.
Grew up in London, Dr Chris and Dr Xand van Tulleken were trained in medicine at Oxford University, graduating in 2002. They have combined work in the UK’s National Health Service with global health work and television; appearing in Blizzard: Race to the Pole, Medicine Men and Medicine Men Go Wild.
Having won two BAFTAs, Operation Ouch is now in its fifth season and is currently airing on ABCME!
