In support of their eighth studio album called '8', Californian rockers Incubus will be hitting Australian roads in March next year. Kicking off at the Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne, the band will make their way to Sydney's Hordern Pavilion. A rocking night at the Brisbane Riverstage will cap the tour.
Released last April through Island Records, ‘8’ spawned the electrifying new hits “Nimble Bastard” and “Glitterbomb”. Debuting at number four on Billboard 200, the album marks the band’s return to rock music after years of genre hopping and experimentation. Fans are sure to lose control as Brandon Boyd and company perform all these new songs along with classic fan favourites from their expansive back catalogue including “Wish You Were Here”, “Stellar”, “Drive” and “Are You In?” to name a few.
Incubus originally started as a high school band in 1991. After 26 years, they remain to be a massive force in the music scene—capable of tearing up stages and drawing crowds of thousands. Unafraid of reinvention, Incubus tried different genres including pop, funk, hip hop and nu metal but have always found a way to go back to their roots—rock.
